Eskdaleside cum Ugglebarnby Parish Council encompasses approximately 4500 acres, with rural villages surrounded by a breathtaking combination of agricultural land, woods and moors, including part of the North York Moors, and serves an electorate of nearly 2000 people.
The Parish Council holds its meetings on a monthly basis in Sleights Village Hall. At least once a year it meets in Littlebeck Village Hall and generally has a recess in August.
